Functionally this is a tutor that builds a toolbox out of creatures, letting a deck pull exactly what the moment demands (a removal Rebel, a lockdown Rebel, a fatter threat) rather than drawing into them blind. The 2/4 body is part of the calculus: tough enough to weather a turn and keep tapping, defensive enough to block while the engine grinds. What governs the rate is the six-mana toll and the tap, full stop, because nothing constrains when the ability fires. That open window is the strategic heart of the chain: a Rebel deck holds mana in reserve, fetches in response to whatever the opponent commits, and arrives next turn with both a fresh body and an untapped searcher.
