Ral's Reinforcements
Two bodies for two mana at sorcery speed with no rider attached: this is the plainest form the go-wide token maker answers to. It exists for bulk, not tempo. The Elemental typing and blue-red pairing point it squarely at decks that count bodies rather than care about their stats, where a 1/1 is only ever a resource to be spent: sacrifice fodder, a "whenever a creature enters" trigger, an extra point of damage under an anthem, or a body to convert at a token engine. The rate is deliberately unglamorous. It fills the same structural slot as older ground-level token makers such as Raise the Alarm, minus the instant-speed option, trading flexibility for the count-two-creatures reliability that enters-the-battlefield payoffs reward. On its own the card does exactly what it says and nothing more; slotted behind a sacrifice outlet, a populate effect, or an aristocrats engine, it becomes two triggers stapled to a fixed price. This is a common-tier building block for a specific kind of deck, and it does not pretend to be anything else.
