Radiance keyed its rewards off a board's color density, and this card is the keyword's most aggressive payoff: point at one creature, and it and every other creature sharing a color untap and get +2/+0. On a board where only your creatures share the target's color, that resolves as a one-sided pump that simultaneously frees your attackers to drop back as blockers on the swing-back, or readies a tapped-out team for an instant-speed ambush. The untap clause carries the card. A flat anthem trick would only push damage; here the readiness is the point, granting pseudo-vigilance to a swinging team or standing tapped creatures back up to throw interference. Note the ceiling: untapping an attacker buys no second combat phase, so the untap is about defensive availability, not a fresh alpha strike. The wrinkle is whose color you are keying off: radiance reads the targeted creature's color, not yours, so against a board that mirrors a color in your own, a careless cast hands your opponent the buff alongside you. That turns a full-team pump into a board-reading decision rather than a free swing. And the +2/+0 is offense-only by design: no toughness, no evasion, nothing to help you survive a turn you are behind. This is a closer, not a stabilizer, built for the wide aggressive boards a two-color plan floods the table with, where a single instant settles the math on a stalled race.
