Rally the Horde

Variance dressed up as a token-maker, and built around a probability engine most spells never touch. The mechanism exiles cards three at a time, checking only the third card of each batch: if that card is a land, the process stops; if it is a nonland, you peel another three. Every nonland exiled along the way becomes a 1/1 Warrior, so the payoff is a referendum on your deck's land density. A leaner build keeps the batches advancing and can spit out a fistful of bodies, while a heavier land base stops the chain after one or two cycles and leaves you with modest output for six mana. That batched check is the whole tension of the design: it does not punish the first land it sees, but it caps the engine on the land that lands in a checking slot, which makes the boundary stochastic rather than fixed. The deckbuilding incentive runs backward from the usual greed-punishing math. Trimming lands raises the ceiling but threatens your ability to reach six mana to cast the spell at all, and the spell quietly polices that line by tying its yield to the composition of the library underneath it rather than to the cost in the corner. It is an early experiment in making a spell read your deck's structure mid-resolution, with the random batch size doing the work that a fixed numeral would have done in a tamer design.
