Rakshasa's Bargain

Instant2 generic or Black mana2 generic or Green mana2 generic or Blue mana

Dig four, keep two, bin the rest: the effect is Sultai-colored on its face, but the pricing lets it slip into shells that never committed to three colors. Every pip resolves as either two generic or a single colored symbol, so the floor is a six-mana instant castable anywhere the mana runs, while a deck touching two of its colors pays colored for two pips and two generic for the third, landing at four. That flexibility is the wager: the card softens its own color gate instead of sitting locked behind a rigid identity. Functionally it is selection that pays into the graveyard. The two cards left behind aren't discarded so much as staged, which reframes the choice: a graveyard-hungry shell that dredges or reanimates treats the two unchosen cards as part of the payoff, turning what looks like filtering into a loading spell. The instant speed matters more than the cost implies, since the effect converts to raw velocity on an end step when the game stalls rather than being spent at a fixed sorcery window. Selection this generically useful usually stays confined to a single color pair or demands a strict three-color commitment; here the hybrid pricing bets the ceiling is high enough to justify letting a much wider range of decks reach it.
