Ragged Veins
Damage redirection in reverse: instead of protecting the enchanted creature, this Aura makes hitting it a liability for its controller, mirroring whatever it takes back as life loss. Flash is the operative word. Hung at instant speed on a blocker or attacker mid-combat, it converts an ordinary trade into a life-total swing, and the cleaner play is to drop it on a creature you intend to point a burn spell or fight effect at next. The math compounds with anything that hits hard or hits twice: a single large strike, double strike, or a removal spell that deals damage doubles as direct damage to the opponent. It does nothing against destroy effects, exile, or sacrifice, since those deal no damage, which is the constraint that keeps it from being a universal punisher. What it offers is a way to turn the board's own violence into a clock, a black take on the punisher-aura idea that treats combat damage as a resource rather than a threat. The reward scales with how much pain you can route through the enchanted body, so the card is built less to win a fight than to make the fight cost the other player their life total.
