Pay the spectacle cost instead, which only unlocks once an opponent has bled that turn, and the same creature arrives stapled to hand disruption: each opponent discards a card. The design's whole logic lives in that sequencing requirement. The discard is not free upside; it is a reward gated behind proof that your deck is doing what it claims to do. A go-wide aggressive shell trips the life-loss condition trivially, often on the same turn it wants to deploy this, so the more expensive spectacle line functions as the default rather than the exception. Slower, defensive decks that would love the disruption can rarely pay for it on curve, which is exactly the point: spectacle taxes the players who want the effect without the aggression that earns it.
