Quill-Slinger Boggart

Creature — Goblin Warrior3 generic manaBlack mana

Here is a Goblin built to punish the people across the tribal aisle, and that punchline is the whole design conceit. The era's lords cared about creature types; this one cares about the opposing type, costing a player a life every time someone casts a Kithkin spell. It is asymmetric hate dressed as an ordinary body, the kind of tribe-versus-tribe friction this period leaned into when it wanted Goblins and Kithkin to read as genuine antagonists rather than two colored piles. The trigger only causes life loss, never a tax, so it never stops the Kithkin spell; it just bleeds a target player for the opponent's commitment to their plan. That makes it a slow clock contingent entirely on an opponent's deck choices: against a board free of small white folk it sits there as a 3/2 with a dormant ability, against a dedicated tribal opponent it chips away every turn they advance. The targeting clause is the quiet wrinkle worth noting: the life loss hits a target player, not necessarily the Kithkin caster, so in a multiplayer pod the loss can be pointed wherever it does the most work. A design like this lives or dies by metagame symmetry, which is exactly why parasitic answer cards rarely outlast the format that birthed them; in a room with no Kithkin, the ability simply never fires.
