Prossh, Skyraider of Kher
The cast trigger reads the actual mana spent, not the printed six, so the only lever that grows the Kobold army is forced additional cost: each point of tax, each tax effect on the stack, converts directly into another 0/1 body before the Dragon resolves. The body arrives already surrounded, and the sacrifice line turns that retinue into a weapon: an activated ability that eats another creature for a temporary +1/+0, with the Kobolds standing by as immediate fodder. The combo identity follows directly. Pair the pump with a free or near-free way to recur sacrificed bodies and the +1/+0 becomes a faucet scaling with token count, which is why this Dragon has anchored a fast aristocrats-and-combo lineage in three-color black-red-green builds since multicolor commander products first existed. The flying 5/5 is almost incidental; the value is that one casting hands you both an army and the tool to throw that army at a face. Two clauses keep it from grinding forever: the ability specifies "another creature," so Prossh cannot consume itself, and the pump lasts only until end of turn. The design asks you to assemble the pieces and swing the same turn rather than bank value across many. A commander, a token generator, and a finisher folded into a single cast.
