Pride of the Perfect

A static anthem aimed at the one axis Elves usually neglect: raw power. The tribe tends to snowball on mana production and board count, flooding the table with 1/1 dorks that mob-block well but hit for almost nothing individually. Adding +2/+0 to every one of them turns those mana producers into three-power beaters, converting quantity into a lethal alpha strike that no longer needs an Overrun-style trample push to close the game. The cost is spread across the board rather than tied to a body, which is the trade: it does nothing the turn it lands unless creatures are already down, and it evaporates against enchantment removal that a lord creature would dodge. Static power boosts on a permanent that can't attack are an old design pattern, but pointing one at Elves specifically leans on the tribe's structural weakness. Green anthems for the type have always emphasized ramp, card flow, or token generation; a black enchantment that only cares about connecting for damage is a deliberately different lever, offloading the aggression onto a color that doesn't usually carry the tribe's beatdown plan.
