Predatory Hunger

Enchantment — AuraGreen mana

Most Auras want a quiet board so the enchanted creature can connect; this one inverts that logic entirely. The growth trigger keys off the opponent's own deckbuilding: every creature spell they cast drops a counter on your enchanted attacker, so the card rewards you precisely when you are staring down a creature-heavy opponent rather than punishing you for it. The thing that would normally be the obstacle becomes the engine. The design tension is that you have no hand on the throttle. The counters arrive on the opponent's clock, not yours, so this functions less as a guaranteed threat and more as a tax that makes the opponent's natural game plan grow your creature for them. The downside is the standard Aura liability: a single removal spell answers both the enchantment and the creature it sits on, two cards lost to one, and against a noncreature-heavy opponent the trigger may never fire at all. It sits with the "punish the opponent for playing creatures" effects that ask the opponent to choose between developing their board and feeding yours, a deterrent design whose value tracks directly with how badly the opponent needs to commit creatures to win.
