The entry trigger is a payoff that only pays if you built for it beforehand, which is the tension worth noticing. Choose a creature type on arrival and draw one card per creature of that type you already control: the effect is entirely front-loaded on your board state, not on anything the trigger itself supplies. A tribal deck with a wide relevant board turns this into a burst of cards; a deck with nothing else on the field is still guaranteed at least one, since Pol Jamaar counts himself as a Human, Illusion, and Wizard, and can name any of the three to refund a card. The design deliberately declines to help you set it up. There is no ramp, no token generation, no way to widen the board it wants to reward, so the card functions as a capstone rather than an engine: it cashes an investment you made turns earlier rather than starting a fresh one. The 4/5 flying body is the floor that keeps a thin tribal count from producing a dead draw, but the gap between that floor and the ceiling is unusually wide for a creature whose whole payload fires once on arrival. Naming Illusion is the flavor wink, since the card is one itself, but the type you actually choose is whatever you have committed to, which tunes the reward specifically to the tribal player who overcommitted on purpose and needs the refuel to keep the plan moving.
