Plow Through Reito

Instant — Arcane1 generic manaWhite mana

Sweep asked a blunt question: how much is a Plains worth if you're willing to return it to your hand for a turn? Here the answer is +1/+1 on a single creature for each land returned, which means the spell scales from a dead card to a one-sided fight-winner depending entirely on how much of your developed board you're prepared to unwind. The tension is real and self-correcting: the more Plains you bounce, the larger the pump, but every Plains back in hand is a turn of tempo you have to spend replaying it, so the spell punishes the same greed it rewards. Cast at instant speed in combat, the timing window does the heavy lifting, blowing out a block or pushing through lethal after the defender has committed. Because it answers to your Plains count rather than a fixed number, its ceiling rises with the game while its floor sits at zero, which makes it a late-game card masquerading as a cheap instant: early, returning two Plains for +2/+2 sets you back meaningfully; later, with a flooded board you no longer need to deploy, dumping five or six Plains into a single attacker costs you almost nothing and ends the game. Sweep was a short-lived experiment in spending board presence as a resource, and this is the version that converted that currency directly into damage.
