Pheres-Band Centaurs
Three power on a seven-toughness frame is the platonic shape of the wall that isn't quite a wall: a body that stonewalls most ground attackers without trampling past it, while still pecking back hard enough to matter if the game stalls. Seven toughness is the number that does the heavy lifting here, sitting above the reach of the cheap removal and combat tricks that prey on smaller blockers, and high enough that two attackers usually have to gang up before anything gets through. What it gives up is everything that scales: no evasion, no recurring value, no late-game ceiling. Its whole function is to hold the ground, and the design refuses to let it stretch past that; there is no toolbox mode, no reach, no way to convert the wall into a clock. That single-mindedness is green's oldest defensive instinct distilled to a stat line: trade nothing flashy for a body that makes attacking into it a losing proposition long enough for a slower plan to come together. It is a flatline by intent, the kind of creature that wins by buying turns rather than spending them.
