Phantom Warrior
Unblockability in its purest form: a 2/2 body whose only text is the promise that it will always connect. The design idea here is evasion stripped of every condition. No menace clause asking for two blockers, no flying that a flying blocker can answer, no fear keyed to a color: just the flat declaration that combat math never applies to it. That makes the creature a delivery vehicle. Two power a turn is unremarkable on its own, but two guaranteed power is the substrate every Aura, every combat trigger, and every "deals damage to a player" engine wants to sit on. The body is intentionally fragile (it dies to almost anything at instant speed) because the unblockable line is the whole budget; pay for evasion this clean and the stats have to give. The unadorned templating that defines this kind of early design makes the trade unusually legible: it demonstrates what evasion does without the riders and exceptions the keywords later introduce. Subsequent illusions and rogues would attach unblockability to more interesting bodies, but the bare version remains the clearest statement of the bargain: a worse-than-vanilla creature in exchange for a damage clock opposing creatures can never interrupt.
