Pentad Prism

The mana you sink into casting it comes back out the other side. Cast it with two colors and it banks two charge counters, each redeemable for any color: a two-mana rock that returns its full cost across the following turns while smoothing whatever you produce next. That makes it a ritual disguised as a mana source, and the distinction matters. Most fixing artifacts pay for themselves slowly, one tap per turn forever; this one front-loads its value into a burst and then expires, the counters draining to nothing. The design lives entirely on Sunburst, the keyword that scales a card's power to how many colors you spent. Here the keyword's ceiling and the artifact's mana cost are the same number, so a two-colored casting maxes it out: Sunburst both caps the prism at two counters and rewards the multicolor mana you were already producing to pay for it. The shell that wants it stares down a heavy turn ahead with the colored sources to load it up: converting two mana now into a single explosive sequence beats a permanent that drips. It does not fix mana so much as it banks mana, and the moment it runs dry it stops being a permanent worth the board slot. That tension, a fixing artifact you build to discard, is the whole reason it reads differently from the rocks that share its mana value.
