Land

Fixing in a commander deck's exact colors, no more and no less, is the load-bearing idea here: this taps for any color in your commander's identity, which means a five-color general turns it into an unconditional rainbow source and a mono-colored one leaves it a slow tapland. The color identity anchor is what lets the design get away with the upside, because the scry rider only fires under a genuine constraint. You have to spend the mana on a creature that shares a type with your commander, so the reward is tuned to tribal builds that already want to hit their curve on-type. The land enters tapped as the tax for all of it, the standard toll on painless multicolor fixing. What makes it more than a Command Tower with a scry stapled on is how narrow the trigger is by design: it does nothing for your artifacts, your instants, or your off-type beaters, so it rewards a deck committed to a creature-type theme rather than a goodstuff pile. In practice it slots into any deck built around a tribal identity, offering fixing that most such decks would run anyway, with a small selection bonus for staying on plan.

This land enters tapped. Tap: Add one mana of any color in your commander's color identity. When that mana is spent to cast a creature spell that shares a creature type with your commander, scry 1. (Look at the top card of your library. You may put that card on the bottom.)
