Parhelion II

An aircraft that manufactures a fresh Angel squadron every time it takes to the sky is one of the tidier flavor-to-rules translations the crew mechanic has produced, and the attack trigger is where that flavor turns into a real strategic engine. A crewed swing converts eight mana into thirteen power of evasion at once: the 5/5 flying, first-striking, vigilant Vehicle itself, plus two 4/4 fliers that arrive already attacking. That last clause is the point. The Angels are not tokens you make and hold for next turn; they are minted mid-combat, entering untapped and already pointed at a player, skipping summoning sickness and slipping past any sorcery-speed answer that would have caught them beforehand. Because they come in untapped with vigilance, they land damage now and stay home to block on the crackback. The counterweight is the crew cost: animating this asks you to tap real creatures with total power four, and those bodies leave your board undefended for the turn (the Vehicle, thanks to vigilance, does not). And until something crews it, the thing sits inert as a legendary artifact, exposed to any artifact removal that resolves before it ever swings. What you get out of it rises with how reliably you can spare four power on the turn you want the sky to open.
