Paradigm Shift

Sorcery1 generic manaBlue mana

The whole graveyard becomes the new library, and the old library disappears: that is the entire pitch, and it is among the strangest functions a two-mana sorcery has ever offered. This is not mill, despite the volume of cards it churns; it is the inverse, scooping up everything in your graveyard and turning it into the deck you draw from next, while whatever was still in your library vanishes for the game. The design logic is a deliberate flip of how decks are supposed to work. You spend the early turns stuffing your graveyard with the pieces you actually want, then collapse the rest of the deck into exile and rebuild a library out of nothing but the things you chose to discard. Anything still in the library when this resolves is gone, and that cost is what keeps the effect from being free: to curate a perfect deck you must have already buried the cards you want before you cast it. The trap is double-edged and self-inflicted, since drawing the wrong half of your deck before you fire it off means exiling the half you needed. That makes it a card built for graveyard-stuffing engines rather than fair midrange, a combo enabler dressed as a draw-step reset, and a piece that has spent its life waiting for a deck strange enough to make sense of it.
