Six power for five mana, with the toughness shaved down to three to pay for it: this is green's oldest trade made explicit. Defensive resilience gets sold off for raw offensive output, and the player is left to decide whether a body that dies to almost any burn spell, or chump-blocks and trades into nothing, is worth the damage it threatens. The flat 6/3 with no evasion and no abilities turns fragility itself into the price tag. Bolt on trample or haste and the rate gets worse or the cost goes up; the absence of both is exactly what keeps this where it sits. It does precisely one thing, attacks for a lot, and demands no support, no fragile combo piece, no synergy to justify the slot. That self-sufficiency is the period detail: in its era, raw power on a stick was a complete plan rather than an enabler for something else. This is that plan distilled to a single exaggerated number, large and undercosted on the front side and structurally one-dimensional by design.
