A single green mana buys a 1/2 that sits idle until you have surplus mana to feed it, and that delay is the entire pitch: a token engine wearing a creature costume, built to turn a board into a bigger board across many turns. The first ability is a slow, repeatable Servo factory, the floor of the design; the second is the payoff, minting a Construct as large as the army you already command. The timing of that second ability is the subtle part. X is locked in as the ability resolves, counting the creatures you control just before the token arrives, so the Construct never sizes off itself. The compounding happens between activations rather than within one: every Servo you bank raises the ceiling of the next big swing, and each Construct you make then pads the count for the one after. Compressing the whole package onto a one-drop legendary is the tradeoff behind the open-ended X: the board itself is the only resource the engine scales on, with no card draw, no mana sink past the activation cost, just creatures begetting creatures for as long as the table lets her keep tapping. That makes her a patient build-around rather than a tempo piece, rewarding a deck that floods the board cheaply and then wants a single repeatable way to fold all that quantity into one threat that matters.
