Trample is the keyword that turns a wide Ally board from a chump-blocker's paradise into a problem. That is the precise job here: every time an Ally lands, the whole team gets to push damage past blockers, which scales with exactly the kind of go-wide deck the Ally mechanic wants you to build. The 4/3 body is fine on its own, but the rally trigger is doing the real strategic work, converting the structural weakness of small-creature aggression (getting gummed up behind a single fat blocker) into reach. What shapes how you use it is the window. The grant expires when the turn does and only fires when an Ally enters, so the payoff peaks when you deploy a fresh body on the same turn you swing: the new arrival is what flips the trample on, and the whole board cashes in before it fades.
