The toughness anthem is a rarer beast than its power-pumping cousins, and this one tucks a second idea inside it. Most go-wide payoffs hand your team more punch; this hands them survivability and, more pointedly, vigilance, turning a board of attackers into a board that swings and still stands ready on the crackback. That combination resolves a specific tension in white's wide-board plans: the moment you commit the team to the red zone, you usually concede the air, the alpha strike, the open swing back. Granting every other creature vigilance erases that window, so the same attack that pressures the opponent also leaves a full wall behind. The +0/+2 is the quieter half but does real work alongside it, lifting tokens and one-drops above the most common sweep and burn thresholds and making chump-blocking math break in the controller's favor. None of this touches the Giant itself in any flashy way: a 3/4 with vigilance is a fine body and nothing more, which is the point. This is a force multiplier whose value scales with the count of small creatures already on the table, the kind of anthem that contributes nothing in a vacuum and everything in a deck designed to flood the board first and ask questions second.
