The cleverest tribal punisher of its era hides its power in a trigger most lords ignore. Where a standard Zombie lord pumps your team, this one weaponizes the enters-the-battlefield moment into a recurring sweep: every Zombie that arrives, including itself, drops all non-Zombie creatures by a point until end of turn. The effect stacks within a single turn, so casting two Zombies hands the opposing board -2/-2 and three makes it -3/-3, which is exactly the kind of math that erases go-wide decks built on one-toughness bodies. The design coheres because it asks nothing the deck was not already doing: a Zombie list wants to flood the board regardless, and this converts each routine entrance into incremental removal, a Pestilence that fires on a schedule you set rather than one you pay to maintain. The 3/3 body for is unremarkable, but that was never the point; the card is an anthem in reverse, eroding everyone else's army by a step with each Zombie that walks in, every turn the engine keeps feeding. It sits in the same conceptual neighborhood as later lords that tax the rest of the table, but most of those pump while this one shrinks, and the cumulative effect against a developed horde can wipe an opposing board outright without ever attacking.
