Hand attack stapled to a body has a long design history, and this is a plain, low-rarity version of it: a two-drop that strips one card off each opponent as it enters. The discard hits opponents only, never its controller, so it functions as a one-sided tax rather than a mutual one, and that lopsidedness is exactly what lets the effect come this cheap. Each opponent chooses what to pitch, which softens the poke: a single foe holding a dead card loses nothing that mattered, so against one hand this is closer to a slightly-worse Duress that leaves a chump blocker behind than a precise resource strike. The math flips in a multiplayer pod. Against three opponents, that same trigger empties three cards at once, and the fragile 1/1 frame becomes a delivery mechanism for a swing no fair two-drop should generate. The limiting factor is that the effect fires only on entry, so the card wants to be blinked, bounced, or recurred to trigger more than once; left alone, it is a single discard on a body that trades poorly and blocks worse. The Rat Rogue typing points it toward small-creature aggressive shells that already reload cheap bodies, but on its own merits this is curve-filler whose entire interest lives in aiming a cheap one-sided strip at more hands than one.
