Nevinyrral, Urborg Tyrant

The joke is that the necromancer who built the original Nevinyrral's Disk finally got a face, and the design honors the pun rather than the artifact: the board wipe is still here, but it has been rerouted into a death trigger. The tyrant has to die first, and even then you pay one to fire it. That gating carries the entire design. A commander that destroys all artifacts, creatures, and enchantments as a simple activation would warp every game it touched; making the sweep a death rattle means opponents have to weigh whether killing him hands you a favorable reset, while you keep the sweep on your own clock through any sacrifice outlet, feeding him to the graveyard when the board is angled your way. The hexproof clause pushes from the other direction: he shrugs off the artifact, creature, and enchantment effects that make up so much removal, so opponents leaning on those permanents have to find something else. Instants and sorceries that target opponents' creatures still touch him fine (hexproof from does not mean hexproof), and any of those roads back to the death trigger. The entry payoff rewards the aristocrats and sacrifice engines already killing your own creatures, scaling the Zombie army to a graveyard you were filling anyway. Every piece points at the same axis: a Zombie Wizard who is most dangerous when he leaves, whether you shove him off yourself or an opponent obliges.
