Four mana for a 4/3 with no abilities is the rate green vanilla creatures settle on when the design brief asks for a body and nothing else: not even the keyword most boars carry. The math is deliberate. A 4/3 trades up against most three-drops while folding to nearly any burn spell or combat trick, which is exactly the bargain green accepts when it wants raw stats at common without distorting how creatures attack and block. There is nothing under the hood, and dressing it up would betray what the card is for. A clean green beater with a respectable swing and a fragile back end, priced to do one job and ask no questions. Its honesty is the only remarkable thing about it.
