Necromancer's Stockpile
The looter that pays double for tribal loyalty. Discarding any creature to draw a card is the kind of filtering engine black has run since its earliest enchantment-based looters, but the conditional rider is where the design earns its keep: pitch a Zombie and the discard stops being pure attrition, replacing the body you tossed with a tapped 2/2 token. That turns hand depth into a board presence. The card you discard is not lost so much as converted: a Zombie card in hand becomes a Zombie on the battlefield plus a fresh draw, and the only tax is the activation mana and the tempo of the token entering tapped. The repeatable activation matters more than the rate suggests, because nothing on the card limits how often you fire it; the constraint is purely how many creature cards your hand can feed it. Built explicitly to reward a hand stuffed with Zombie cards, it sits at the intersection of two black staples: card filtering and disposable token bodies. Outside a tribe willing to commit, it is a slow, mana-hungry filtering enchantment that trades away creatures you might rather cast; inside one, it is an engine that refuses to run dry as long as your hand keeps offering up bodies to pitch.
