Naya Battlemage

Creature — Human Shaman2 generic manaGreen mana

The two activated abilities are why a green creature wears red and white mana symbols. They work the same combat math from opposite ends: pay red to add two power to an attacker and push it through for extra damage, or pay white to tap a creature out of the way before blocks. Both cost the creature's own tap plus a single off-color pip, so this is built for a board where you already have open mana and a turn to spare. It is a control valve for the combat step rather than a body that pressures anyone on its own. The design belongs to a recognizable lineage, the multicolor utility creature whose colored activation costs gate its flexibility, and the green base flanked by red and white activations stakes out a full allied shard: green with both of its friends. Given the mana to feed it, the modest body quietly bends every attack and block around itself, dictating which trades happen and which never get the chance. The catch is structural, and it is the price of the flexibility: a green creature whose entire upside lives in red and white mana asks the deck to commit to three colors before it does anything at all. What you are buying is a promise that pays off only once the manabase has already paid for it.
