Naomi, Pillar of Order
As a 4/4 for five, the body is fine on its own; the token engine bolted to it only wakes up when your board hits a specific configuration: one artifact and one enchantment out at the same time. That gate is the price for a no-mana, repeatable source of 2/2 white Samurai with vigilance, and it fires on the two most reliable moments a creature offers, entering and attacking, so a satisfied board hands you a fresh body every combat and another whenever Naomi returns. The interesting part is where the requirement points the deckbuilder. Those two card types rarely braid together in the same white-black shell (that space usually goes to tokens or aristocrats), so building here means treating "control both types" as a standing condition to defend rather than a checkbox you tick once. Removal aimed at the wrong permanent shuts the whole thing off mid-combat, which is exactly why the vigilance matters: the Samurai can swing alongside Naomi and still guard the ground while you scramble to keep the enabling permanents alive. The reward goes to a permanent-dense build where artifacts and enchantments are woven through the threats and the mana base, not two enablers taped on for the sole purpose of turning the trigger on. Keeping them on the table, not merely assembling them for one turn, is the real cost of admission.
