The window matters. The buff lands with the entire combat step still ahead of you, so it shapes how you attack rather than gating on it, and universal deathtouch means a field of small bodies trades up through anything foolish enough to block. It is offense-only, though; the trigger keys to your turn and the deathtouch fades once your turn ends, so nothing carries into an opponent's swing. The two static lines handle the assembly work: perpetual visibility of your top card, plus permission to cast the four party classes straight off your library. That second clause is the quiet engine, letting the exact roster pieces you need bypass your hand entirely, so the deck refills by playing forward instead of drawing into it. The Orzhov identity is deliberate: Cleric and Rogue live natively in white and black, covering half the party slots, and the counter-and-deathtouch package rewards going wide rather than building toward a single haymaker. It pushes party from incidental value into a win condition, taxed only by keeping all four class slots filled.
