Nalfeshnee

Creature — Beast Demon5 generic manaRed mana

Cast-from-exile has quietly become one of red's deepest wells: impulse-draw effects that let you play cards off the top, foretell-style delayed casts, adventure spells, and any of the growing pile of "exile the top card, you may play it" engines. This demon turns that entire category into a duplication trigger. Every spell you launch out of exile resolves twice, and the copy comes with fresh targets, so a burn spell splits, a removal spell answers two threats, and a permanent arrives as a hasty token that leaves at end step. The end-step sacrifice on permanent copies is the pressure valve: the token gets one turn of work (an attack, an enters-the-battlefield trigger, a tap ability) rather than becoming a permanent second board, which keeps the trigger from stacking into runaway value on its own. What makes the build interesting is that Nalfeshnee does not care where the exile comes from, only that the spell is cast from there, which means the engine is assembled from cards that already reward playing from exile rather than a dedicated combo piece. The 4/6 flying body is deliberately unremarkable: it survives most incidental removal and blocks in the air, but it is the enabler, not the payoff. The payoff is whatever you were already casting from exile, now happening twice.

Rules text

Flying Whenever you cast a spell from exile, copy it. You may choose new targets for the copy. If it's a permanent spell, the copy gains haste and "At the beginning of the end step, sacrifice this permanent." (A copy of a permanent spell becomes a token.)
