Myth Realized
A win condition that costs one white mana and refuses to die to creature removal, because for most of the game it is not a creature at all. The trick is that the lore counters accumulate on an enchantment, so a sweeper aimed at the board passes it over, and the only window an opponent ever gets to kill the resulting Monk Avatar is the turn you actually animate it. Until then it sits as an enchantment that quietly grows every time you cast a noncreature spell, which means a deck built around it is already casting its other spells: removal, card draw, counterspells. Each of those does double duty, advancing your plan while feeding the clock. The counter ability is the patience valve for when you have no spells to cast and want to build toward lethal anyway, and the
animation cost is cheap enough to flash in as a surprise blocker or a one-turn alpha strike. What ties it all together is resilience by omission: a card that demands almost nothing of your opening hand, dodges the answers built for creatures, and converts a control shell's incidental spell volume into a body whose size you never have to commit to until the moment you swing. The threat is only ever a threat on your terms, and only for the length of a single turn.
