Mwonvuli Beast Tracker
The tutor is keyed to a deliberately green-flavored grab bag of keywords: deathtouch, hexproof, reach, and trample, the four abilities that read as "natural" in the color's design vocabulary. That breadth is the point. Rather than fetch a single named threat, this finds whatever the deck needs from a wide pool of fatties and utility creatures, then sets it up as the next draw rather than handing it over directly. Putting the card on top instead of into hand is the restriction that prices the effect: you pay a turn of tempo and a draw step before the tutored creature does anything, and anything that touches your draw later (a shuffle effect, a discard spell catching the card once it reaches your hand) can knock the plan off course. The 2/1 body is incidental: it is fragile, carries none of the keywords it searches for, and exists mainly to deliver the trigger before trading off or chump-blocking. The value lives entirely in the search. It sits in the lineage of green creature-tutors that trade immediacy for flexibility, closer in spirit to Fauna Shaman or Eladamri's Call than to a raw Demonic Tutor: green pays for selection with time, and this card is a clean statement of that trade.
