The trample is the delivery mechanism; the real engine is the attack trigger, which scales the enchanted creature's power by how many bodies you swing with. That makes this a go-wide payoff dressed as a single-target buff: the more attackers you commit, the larger your trampler grows, and trample turns that pumped power into damage even into a clogged board. The condition on the trigger is what gives the card its character. It fires only when all your non-Wall creatures attack, so you cannot hold blockers back and still collect the bonus; cashing in the buff means leaving yourself open. That all-in clause is the price: the reward is conditional on full commitment, and the bonus is symmetric with your own board state rather than something you size on demand. X is recalculated each turn from the attacking count, so the buff swells and shrinks with your creature count, which favors a board that keeps adding to itself over one that trades down. As an early sketch of the go-wide-and-pump idea, it reads as a forerunner to later auras and anthems that turned token armies into single overwhelming threats, with the attack-everyone requirement standing in for the drawback that later designs would price more carefully.
