Mistral Charger

The platonic white evasive two-drop, drawn so close to the baseline that it functions as a unit of measurement rather than a card with an angle of its own. A 2/1 flier for one generic and one white is the rate against which more ambitious flying weenies get priced: give it a relevant creature type, a tribal upside, an enters-the-battlefield wrinkle, and you have justified a slot, but strip all of that away and Mistral Charger is what is left. The toughness of one is the cost. It dies to nearly everything that wants to kill it and trades down in the air against anything bigger, so the design leans entirely on tempo: two power the ground cannot block, deployed early enough that the clock matters before the fragility does. This is the kind of common that exists so an aggressive white curve has a body to fill its two-slot, a known quantity rather than a card built to be remembered. Pegasus has never carried meaningful tribal weight, so even the type is decoration. What it offers is honesty: evasive, cheap, and as disposable as its single point of toughness implies.
