Mistmeadow Witch
A repeatable blink engine bolted to a fragile 1/1, and the four-mana price tag does double duty as the card's only brake. Where a flicker spell like Cloudshift or Momentary Blink fires once and is spent, this Wizard turns any enters-the-battlefield trigger into a faucet: pay the four mana, exile a creature, and get it back during the next end step with its tap-state reset and its ETB reloaded. The exile-and-return wording does more than it reads. Because the creature is removed to exile rather than bounced to hand, it dodges destruction in response, sheds counters and Auras, and returns clean; because the return is delayed until the end step, the same activation also fogs an attacker for a turn or claws back a creature an opponent has stolen. None of that flexibility comes from a window the card grants, because the ability carries no timing restriction at all: hold the mana up and fire on an opponent's turn, in response to removal, mid-combat. The cost itself is the governor, four mana paid out of an untapped board every turn you want value, converting mana into triggers at a fixed rate and leaving you to supply the ETB creatures worth pointing it at. It sits near the front of a long line of white-blue blink shells, asking you to assemble a board of value creatures and then squeeze each of them again until the mana runs dry.
