Mister Immortal

Legendary Creature — Mutant Hero1 generic manaGreen mana

The name is the entire spec, and the design delivers on it with a bluntness Magic usually avoids: a body that will not stay dead. Green recycles creatures from the graveyard all the time; the exile clause is the departure that matters. Most self-return effects fold to any death-replacement that shunts the creature to exile instead of the yard, so a Swords to Plowshares or a Bojuka Bog normally ends a recursive threat permanently. Here exile is just another launch point, no different from the graveyard, and the reactivation cost is identical either way. That one word demotes the usual hate answers to speed bumps. The tapped clause and the flat, un-reduced return cost are what stop the loop from running away: every resurrection is a full activation, and the creature always arrives defenseless, unable to attack or block the turn it comes back. The trade is explicit: tempo for permanence, a two-drop that asks you to keep paying rather than to assemble a machine. It is sacrifice fodder that shrugs off the graveyard hate designed to answer sacrifice fodder, a recurring engine piece whose worth is not the 2/1 but the way it refuses to be gone for good.
