Mind Raker

Creature — Eldrazi Processor3 generic manaBlack mana

Processing asked a strange question about exile: what if the cards an opponent had supposedly lost forever could be dragged back into play as raw material? This body is the discard-flavored answer. The enters-the-battlefield trigger goes on the stack the moment the creature lands, but the payoff resolves only if there is a card an opponent owns sitting in exile to move; processing is optional, and the discard for each opponent rides on whether you actually demote that exiled card into its owner's graveyard. That makes it a payoff dependent on setup elsewhere, something that fed an opponent's exile zone in the first place: ingest creatures, effects that exile from hand or library, anything that stocked the resource these cards consume. The 3/3 body is deliberately undersized for its cost, and the gap is the tax you pay for stapling table-wide hand disruption to a creature; when the pieces line up, you convert a card that was gone for good into a graveyard card plus a discard, all at no extra mana beyond the creature itself. Without exile to draw from, the trigger resolves doing nothing and you are left with an underpowered colorless 3/3 whose devoid tag mostly matters against the narrow slice of removal that keys off black, like Celestial Purge, rather than the broad answers that hit any creature regardless of color. The processing theme's brief flowering as a synergy engine never produced a deck that wanted this creature for its own sake, but as a clean illustration of what processing does it is among the tidiest: it recurs nothing and gains you no card, it simply downgrades an opponent's exiled card to the graveyard and charges the table a card in hand for the privilege.
