Four mana buys a vanilla flier here, a body that one and two mana already purchased with text attached well before this card was made. The math is unkind, and the design does not dress it up. What sits in place of efficiency is breadth: a fully colorless cost any deck can pay, an artifact type for the narrow band of cards that count them, and an evasive 2/2 that pecks for two and trades up against ground attackers. That is the whole of it, and there is no hook tucked underneath. This is the vanilla-plus evasion filler that rounds out a set's curve without ever claiming a seat in something built to win.
