Meng Huo, Barbarian King
A mono-color lord is the simplest anthem design there is, and this one strips it to the studs: a 4/4 body that hands every other green creature you control a flat +1/+1, no tribal restriction, no keyword grant, no upkeep tax. The color-locked clause is what makes it a lord rather than a generic anthem like Glorious Anthem: it cares only that your other creatures are green, which in a green-heavy board is a distinction without a difference and in a splash deck is a real cost. The five-mana price for a 4/4 that pumps the team is the honest part of the deal; that is a deliberately fair rate for an effect that scales with how wide you have already gone, which means the card does nothing for an empty board and a great deal for a developed one. It also sits in the older tradition of legends as flavor-driven rare anthems, a Barbarian King leading a green army rather than a tightly optimized engine piece. Strip the Romance of the Three Kingdoms framing and the design is a clean, color-pure lord that asks one question of a deck: are your threats green enough to want the buff applied to all of them at once.
