Maw of the Obzedat
A free, repeatable sacrifice outlet stapled to a team pump is a rarer combination than it sounds, because each half wants to point in a different direction. The activation costs nothing but a creature, which makes the Thrull both an engine and a payoff: every body you feed it is a death trigger for whatever sacrifice package you've built, and the +1/+1 it returns can swing a stalled combat or convert a board of tokens into lethal in a single untapped turn. There is no once-per-turn limit, so the pump stacks: feed it three creatures and the survivors get +3/+3, turning a wide board and a stack of spare fodder into a burst of reach proportional to how much you're willing to throw away. The Aristocrats lineage runs through cards like this, where the outlet is the deck and the body holding it is almost incidental. What distinguishes this one is that the outlet doubles as a finisher, so it does not sit inert when you have no death payoff online: a 3/3 that can eat a chump to push damage is still doing work. It pulls in the same direction an Orzhov sacrifice deck builds anyway, going wide on cheap bodies, and the wider that board, the more lethal each successive activation becomes.
