Master Piandao
A 4/4 first striker whose swing rewards a very specific promise: it will only dig up what your deck has agreed to run in bulk. Every attack looks at the top four and lets you pocket an Ally, Equipment, or Lesson; anything else buries at the bottom in random order, and that random-order clause is the honest tax on the dig. A whiff spends no card advantage but scatters four cards out of reach, so the effect only reads as selection if those three categories fill enough of the library to hit reliably. It is a payoff that writes its own deckbuilding requirement into the rules text: crowd the deck with Allies, Equipment, and Lessons and the body becomes a fresh source of gas every combat step; run a scattered board and it is a warrior that occasionally trips over something useful. First strike is quietly load-bearing here, because the trigger keys off attacking rather than dealing damage. The engine wants to swing every turn, and first strike lets it push into blockers a naked 4/4 would trade with, keeping the dig online turn after turn. The design is a triple-tribal enabler wearing beatdown stats, built to reward the narrow synergy build over the goodstuff pile.
