Marvel Boy, Noh-Varr

Legendary Creature — Kree Soldier Hero1 generic manaRed or White mana

Two triggers grow this 1/1 from as small a body as a legendary creature ships with: every other creature that enters under your control, and every power-up ability you activate. That pairing is the entire design thesis. The card is not cast for its stats but as a counter engine that scales with the two things a wide, mechanic-forward deck already wants to do. Token strategies feed the first trigger; a shell built around power-up activations feeds the second. Run both and the counters accumulate faster than either axis suggests, because the two triggers draw on different resources rather than competing. The hybrid red-or-white cost keeps him castable in either half of an aggressive build without demanding both colors, which matters for a cheap piece meant to land early and compound. What the design pays for that growth is durability: a 1/1 that must survive several turns of creature drops and activations before it becomes a threat is a removal magnet, and nothing on the card protects it. What it returns is growth that never asks for a dedicated activation of its own; the counters are a byproduct of playing the game the way the deck already intends to, not a separate line of investment.
