Marshaling Cry
The team-pump finisher is one of white's oldest closers, but this print is doing something more deliberate than a one-shot Overrun knockoff. The vigilance line matters as much as the +1/+1: it lets a board that just swung still hold the fort, collapsing attack and defense into a single turn and rewarding an aggressive deck that would otherwise dread the crackback. What lifts it above a vanilla anthem is the way the card refuses to be dead in any phase. Cycling for two turns it into a fresh card when the board is empty or the game has stalled, so the slot never clogs an opening hand. Flashback then sells the same swing a second time: cast it for from the graveyard for a second alpha-strike, after which the card exiles for good. Cycling, the cast, and the flashback each answer a different texture of game (the flood, the empty board, the grind), which is the real design idea: a go-wide payoff that hedges against the matchups where going wide fails. You pay for that breadth in raw power. None of the three modes is individually exceptional, and the body-less sorcery asks you to already have the creatures it wants to buff. It is built for a deck that has solved its threat density and needs a flexible closer that won't rot in hand when the plan stalls.
