Enchantment — Aura3 generic manaWhite mana

Vigilance is the tell that this Aura was built with stabilization in mind rather than pure aggression. A flat +2/+2 is the familiar combat-boost rate that generic enchant-a-creature Auras have offered since the earliest sets; bolting vigilance onto it changes the math, because the enchanted creature can swing for the extra damage and still be back to block on the crackback. One body becomes both clock and wall. That keyword is doing the steering: it points a white creature deck toward grinding out a board rather than racing off it. The cost of that ambition is structural to the card type itself. Auras carry built-in two-for-one risk, since any removal aimed at the enchanted creature eats the buff along with it, which is why this whole family of stat-pumping Auras has historically lived at common as connective glue rather than as a deck's reason for existing. This is honest white-weenie filler, a beater-maker for the kind of midrange creature deck that wants its threats to hold the line on the turns they are not pressing the advantage.
