Mardu Woe-Reaper

Creature — Human WarriorWhite mana

A 2/1 for one white mana sits at the ceiling of what a one-drop is allowed to be, and the graveyard clause rides along as upside rather than a tax on that rate. The elegance is in how the disruption attaches to the type rather than to any single card: because the trigger reads "this creature or another Warrior you control enters," every Warrior in the deck becomes a potential graveyard hit, not just this body on turn one. The exile is optional and needs a legal creature card sitting in a yard to fire, so it is opportunistic rather than guaranteed, but when the target is there it strips a reanimation payoff, delve fuel, or a recursion piece out of the graveyard on the way to attacking. The point of life is incidental sweetener; the real work is that the hate travels on the curve instead of sitting to the side of it. Keying the trigger off Warriors rather than creatures broadly is the leash that keeps the value from spiraling: the reward scales with how hard you commit to the tribe, but the floor never dips below a maximally efficient beater. That is the design's discipline. It folds a slice of graveyard interaction into an aggressive shell without asking the shell to slow down or the beatdown to become a toolbox.
