Maraleaf Rider
Green rarely gets to dictate combat, and when it does the toll is steep: Lure asks for an enchantment slot, Prized Unicorn hangs the effect on a body that has to attack, and most "must block" effects charge you real cards. This 3/1 instead rents the same power for a Food token, an incidental resource in the exact shells that already want a fragile aggressive Elf. Point the button at a small blocker, force the trade, and the 3 power swings up; the catch is that a 3/1 dies just as easily in that exchange, so what looks like removal is really a controlled swap you get to choose, or a way to clear a blocker so a larger attacker connects. The "if able" clause is what keeps the effect honest: it only compels a creature that could already legally block, so a tapped attacker, a creature spoken for elsewhere, or an empty board leaves the ability doing nothing. What the Rider wants is a deck manufacturing Food for its own reasons, so each activation reads as spare value rather than a tax, though every token spent here is one that might have fed something else. In a sacrifice-fueled board, it hands green a repeatable lever over combat math that the color usually has to pay dearly for.
