Magus of the Future

The enchantment named Future Sight asks five mana and three blue pips to bolt a sustained engine onto your library; this is that same text box stapled to a 2/3 body, and the gap between the two is the whole conversation. The enchantment is a permanent you tuck behind your defenses; this is a creature that walks into every removal spell, every bounce, every blocker trade, and the moment it dies your library snaps shut again. What you pay for the fragility is access: a creature can be tutored with the deep bench of creature search, blinked, recurred, cheated into play, and reanimated, none of which the enchantment version enjoys. The effect itself is one of the loudest in the game, flipping the hidden information of your library face up and letting you play lands and cast spells straight off the top. Note what that is not: it is not drawing. Cards leave the top of the library as you play or cast them, so anything keyed to draw triggers sits idle, but so does anything that would punish your draw step. Paired with Sensei's Divining Top or any shuffle effect, the revealed card stops being a gamble and becomes something you sculpt: the open top is not a downside to manage but a board state you arrange. The body is incidental. You are buying the text box on the most exposed permanent type in the game and betting your deck can keep it breathing.
