Magma Hellion
Seven mana buys a 5/4 that swings the turn it lands, and the twist is that most of that seven can come out of someone else's pool. A teammate or tablemate paying up to can drop your own outlay to a single red, which turns a fatty into a group purchase. What matters here is what that does to threat assessment at a shared table: a trampling, hasty beater whose funding and whose direction can belong to two different players. One person commits the red and points the creature; another subsidizes the cost while dodging the political consequences of having cast it. The body itself is unremarkable, deliberately so. There is no recurring trigger, no engine, no late-game inevitability, just red's most literal impulses (haste, trample, immediate combat) stapled to a keyword that asks the table to fund each other's aggression. That bluntness is the design's whole argument: strip away the value text and you see the social bargain in isolation, a large creature that arrives fast and gets partly paid for by a player who will not have to answer for where it swings.
